Titanium round bar have high strength-to-weight ratios

Titanium round bar often uses small-diameter round bar for body implantable fasteners and dental appliances. Round bar is made from very small diameters of wire for welding, all the way up to larger diameters (such as the 14″ diameter), used for clutch and flywheels. grade1 titanium round rod is also age hardenable by heat treatment to achieve even higher strengths. Some applications for this grade are compressor blades, discs, and rings for jet engines; airframe components; pressure vessels; rocket engine cases; helicopter rotor hubs and critical forgings requiring high strength-to-weight ratios.
