Chemical properties of titanium

Titanium in high temperature, can react with many elements and compounds. A variety of elements, according to their different reactions occur with titanium can be divided into four categories:
The first category: halogen and oxygen group elements and Titanium round bar generating covalent bond and ionic bond compounds;
Class second: transition elements, hydrogen, beryllium, boron family, carbon group and pnictogens and Ti intermetallic compound and limited solid solution;
Third class: zirconium, hafnium, vanadium family, family, scandium and titanium produce infinite solid solution;
Fourth class: inert gas, alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, rare earth elements (except for SC, actinium, thorium and other external) no reaction or reaction does not occur basically and powdered metal suppliers.
